 Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Manufacturing, the Production Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and supervision of the high volume Commercial and Defense Product Line functions and assigned personnel. Duties include the assignment and monitoring of daily operations; the selection, training, development and supervision of personnel to meet goals and all area process documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in a technical or engineering field and / or 3-5 years experience in a technical supervisory / managerial role in a manufacturing environment. Education may be replaced with equivalent years of experience.
  • Duties require strong team leadership skills, effective verbal communication skills, ability to motivate a team to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing production processes and procedures requiring advanced technical skills and knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proven ability to carry out assignments with minimal supervision and contribute to decision making process highly desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must be detailed oriented, organized, have the ability to work under pressure, willingness to be flexible and possess good management and team development skills.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal skills; Strong Communication; MS Office; MRP software.
  • Multi-task; Prioritize; Organize; Self-motivate; Communicate well at all levels;
  • Read technical product/part drawings, blueprints and designs.
