MACHINE OPERATOR – Finishing - 2nd SHIFT

We are currently recruiting for an EXPERIENCED Machine Operator who can join our team and hit the ground running. 

Our Operators perform diversified manual and mechanical duties to fully set up and operate various types of forming, grinding and polishing machines, or perform skilled manual labor.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate various cutting, forming, grinding and/or polishing machines
• Use precision measuring instruments to make periodic inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications
• Work closely with engineering to conduct engineering tests, assist in new product development and troubleshoot process problems
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations and utilize required safety equipment. 
• Read and interpret routing sheets and blueprints to determine required operations and other product specifications
• other similar duties as directed.

Required Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will be goal oriented, focused and patient, positively handling and addressing challenges and possess the following experience and talents:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Solid track record of stable work history
• 3 + years machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments a plus
• Ability to read drawings / blueprints a plus
• REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Results Driven, Solution Focus, Customer Focus, Team Building, Curious and Innovative
• English language competency (speaking, comprehension, reading and writing) commensurate with the duties visual acuity to prints/plans and product details as well as machine details,
• physical ability, to lift, move and carry various weights up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug test.
