You will write new CNC programs, design, program, setup, test, and operate CNC machines, while ensuring that the design intent and component quality is achieved. You will perform complex and specialized machining operations on a variety of materials. You will also manage and own several process improvement projects to improve production operations.
 
In addition you will be at the forefront of innovation providing technical expertise in support of new product design as defined by the customer during the quoting phase and be involved in the proof of new technology, first part inspection, fixture design, and programming.
 
Qualifications:
Core competencies include a terrific attitude and work ethic, a strong team player, an in-depth CNC technical knowledge, creative problem solving skills and a passion for training and developing a strong support team of CNC Operators.
 
Our ideal candidate will be highly functioning and thrive in a multiple priority work environment, have a  proven track record of CNC programming, and have a certificate or Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering /Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Additional experience in the following areas are a plus: CAM systems, CAD (3 D Model a plus), basic PC knowledge and experience, advanced CNC Program understanding (X,Y M and G Codes), MasterCam, AutoCad, G-Code, MS-Office, Solid Works, documentation managing/control.
 
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work in a manufacturing environment. Lifting will be required. Exposure to coolants, cleaners, and glass.
