Description
                       
INCOM Inc., headquartered in Charlton, MA seeks Quality professional with both practical hands on experience and appropriate technical understanding to facilitate process improvement initiatives, auditing and documenting Quality Management System procedures and best practices. Duties include the leading, performing Quality audits and documenting results, maintaining process documentation, maintaining the instrument calibration system. Responsibilities 
The QA Technician will work in a highly collaborative Quality and manufacturing environment to:
  • Receive and disposition customer Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
  • Initiate customer reworks.
  • Evaluate nonconforming material (NCMR’s). Communicate with customer as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining companywide training and development records.
  • Audit and inspect components at specific manufacturing operations and present results to production and quality managers.
  • Assist in preparing and conducting lean events and follow-up audit activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining Incom’s calibration system.
  • Provide support for programming automated visual inspection equipment.
  • Conduct random and/specific production operational audits to maintain the integrity of the Quality management system in compliance with ISO9001.
  • Initiate and direct Stage II process including Stage II folder creation and PO approval.
  • Create and maintain Inspection Specifications.
  • Create and maintain Certificates of Analysis.
     
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of related technical Quality or Inspections experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ISO 9000 / QMS systems
  • Programming of automated visual inspection equipment a big plus.
  • Experience leading TIPS (Team Involvement Problem Solving)
  • English fluency (speaking, comprehension, reading and writing) for the effective performance of the position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
